Last Saturday we went to one of the last Aggie baseball games. They were playing Ole' Miss. The kids were so excited to be going back to Aggieland. Once we got there we went to eat lunch at Cheddar's. It was yummy and the town was nice and quiet as they were already on summer break as graduation was the weekend before. Quite the contrast during football games! After lunch we stopped to shop at Aggieland Outfitters where I could of spent a small fortune, Emerson too. She wanted all of the Reveille stuffed animals and everything cute. We then drove around campus some to show Landon where I worked, took classes, used to park, etc. Sure has changed a lot! We also drove right by Kyle Field where you typically can't to see the progress of the construction. The kids were in awe at the mess and new stuff that is being worked on and resurrected. Then we headed to Blue Bell Park and got a parking spot right up front. The park wasn't full at first but it filled up quick. We sat in general admission on the grassy hill, which to me were the best seats in the park. Great view and foul balls come your way a lot so you need to pay attention. They have a little park/climbing structure right where we were stationed that the kids went back and forth on to play. Landon watched pretty much 8 of the 9 innings totally into the game. He loved every minute of it! Emerson went back and forth between our area and the playground and even made a friend named Shannon. So they played the whole time. I swear, she would make friends with a tree. :) It got pretty dang hot during the game so lots of drinks, water, and snow cones were needed. It was a close game the last few innings with lots of hits and action and the Aggies pulled it off 9-6. After the game we stopped to eat dinner at Chickfila. We all had a great time and will definitely be returning next season. Football season will be here now before we know it!

| The kids dog piling for a ball. Emerson decided to run over there and check it out...and sit right in the middle of the madness! It was so funny because while the kids were fighting it out the boy standing with his back to the camera finally chimed in and said, "Hey guys, I have the ball right here!". |
